I placed an order for a leather jacket with some unique modifications, I asked for the sleeves to be done in red and the body in light biege. The jacket arrived in 12 days and was better than i could ever imagine! I cant even begin to express the perfection of my jacket. At first i was a bit worried it may not come out the way i had wished it to, but thanks to the dedicated craftsmanship of the people behind makeyourownjeans it had been done perfectly! At the outset I was concerned about ordering from this site, as I have had some awful experiences with "made to measure" from others. I am taller than average and require not only a slimmer fitting garment, but also additional length in the body and sleeves. I ordered the basic leather shirt made to measure. I can't find good looking leather jeans ANYWHERE. So I found this website a few weeks ago and ordered a pair of slightly flared leather jeans, primarily for stagewear, but I'll wear them anywhere to be honest. [5 of 5 Stars!] The website takes you through the measurements process, and you can measure your favourite jeans if that's how you want them. I have a pair I like but adjusted some of the measurements to suit what I wanted these leather jeans to look like. I had in mind 1979 Blue Oyster Cult, like Eric Bloom's on the back of the Mirrors cover. I was a bit nervous as $99 plus shipping is a reasonable amount of cash if they turned out to be rubbish. It worked out at just over £74. But I took a chance since they have loads of great feedback. They arrived today. They are absolutely marvelous! Perfect fit, very nice quality leather, well made, and took half the time they said they might take on the website. £74 for a pair of perfect, custom made to measure leather jeans. Just got my brown leather Jim Morrison pants in today, and I am VERY well pleased. This is the second pair of leather pants I've ordered. I was extremely happy upon my latest visit to discover that they had added Jim Morrison pants to the site, last time I just got the regular black leather jeans. I love both pairs. The last pair (due to my own mis judgment) were a tad short in length, but I have corrected that with this latest purchase, and they are PERFECT. I buy the work like material that looks like stuff dockers are made of as well as denim....they are fantabulous..fit me to a tee!!! [5 of 5 Stars!] I recommend making sure you measure accurately and if in doubt add 1/2 inch to your measurements for discrepancies in various measuring devices. I like my pants so much im gonna have get more soon as I wear them out....i tell everyone I know about this site. It took me a while to make all the measurements required for a pair of chino pants, but I saved them for future reference. [5 of 5 Stars!] The pants arrived perhaps three weeks after I placed the order and they fit quite well, much better than off-the-shelf pants bought locally. Haven't washed them as yet to see the effect of any possible shrinkage. |

This was our 2nd order, the first order took almost 4 weeks to recieve but, I explained in the comments it was for my wife's Birthday and to my shock and amazment, the order arrived in just 9 days from order to my door ! 3 days before her Birthday. MakeYourOwnJeans is how I will buy my jeans for the rest of my life. Given the quality of the jeans I ordered, they were a steal. And even though I could find a pair of jeans at a department store for slightly less money, not only would the fit be worse, but if you count the hours I'd have to spend shopping (not to mention the gas to drive to the mall!) I believe these custom jeans are actually cheaper. I must admit that the pair I ordered were not exactly what I wanted, but that was due to my own measurements and was no fault of MakeYourOwnJeans. I'm a Rock singer in a Tribute band and I needed a special pair of jeans made to fit the way jeans were made in the 70's. This style is not popular now so they are impossible to find in the local stores. Make your own Jeans did the job! It took a while for them to be made and shipped from India but the wait was well worth it. I plan to buy another pair soon. I'm going to try less stretch this time to see if I like that even better. Last pair was my third pair of jeans from Make Your Own Jeans, so I am happy with the product you are supplying. I bought my boyfriend a leather jacket as a Christmas present. He is 6'3" and he works out often. His shoulders are an XXL and his waist is a medium. I looked for custom made leather jackets so he could ride his motorcycle and found makeyourownjeans. The Jacket fit him so nicely! Customer service e-mailed me to check and make sure the measurements were correct due to his different proportioned body type. They responded on time and were so kind and considerate! Loved my jeans , perfect fit, excellent workmanship and delivered so quickly - will certainly be ordering more and have recommended you family and friends :) I was looking for a burgendy corderoy so it would be great if you had that as a choice but the brown I choose instead is still a lovely shade. My only suggestion is that it would be a nice touch to add the name in the " Made for " tag on the jeans.
