My son is thin, but has long legs and we have had difficulty finding jeans to fit him. We had to order 28 x 32 jeans and buy belts because they were too big in the waist. But we could not find any jeans in a smaller waist size that had a 32in. inseam. I like the style, fit, and color of the jeans we ordered. They came in a reasonable amount of time. As a larger gentleman it is hard for me to find the perfect fit of jeans. I sent my jeans I wanted cloned away and a few weeks later received my perfectly fitting replacement jeans. Well, I owe Make Your Own Jeans an apology!!!!!!!!!!  [4 of 5 Stars!] I got my order to find that they were an inch smaller in the waist than the supplied measurement and 2 inchs longer in the leg than was expected and I was so disappointed that it seemed here was just another scam as one finds so often, that I placed an unfavourable review. HOWEVER!!!!... The standard of work that has gone into them just can't be overlooked. I really think that a true effort has gone into the jeans and it is quite possible that MYOJ is more expert than I first was uncharitably disposed to opine. The jeans ordered were made of the light 'special offer' denim and I suspect expected stretch was allowed for in their making. I have found that they have gone from definite discomfort to a comfortable fit in the short course of wearing. (though perhaps the expected stretch has aberated the overall length resulting in a too long leg). Not sure but will pay attention to my next order that the inseam/inside leg measurement is available for reference. Thank you MYOJ. I hope you will accept my apology and I will make further orders using what I learned. |

I just recieved my 34th order from MYOJ and must say each order has been perfect. This order I tried a small front and rear rise. Front being 4" and the rear 8". The jeans fit like a glove as ordered but the fly in front is a little to small and the rear rise was 9" instead of the 8" I ordered. I'm changing back to the 5" front rise because they look better but will try again for the 8" rear rise. All in all every pair of jeans I have ordered came just the way I ordered them for the most part. You can't ask for a better fitting pair of jeans or anything MYOJ makes. I will begin by saying that MYOJ has been extraordinary in my case and I am sure they have been in every case. Seams are sturdy, my selected material was of good quality and the overall fit and quality of workmanship was wonderful. My last order was for stretch jeans with the highest amount of stretch I could get, and after reading that the jeans would appear tight at first and then would stretch out after wearing for a while I have to say to keep that in mind when you order that particular fabric. The stretch is wonderful and makes for the most comfortable jeans I've ever worn. That stretch is a blessing for us that are in our sixties and need that extra bit of give in our jeans. I ordered some blue jeans, made out of their heaviest denim, for my 15 year old impossible-to-fit son (tall and very thin). The fabric, quality and stitching is excellent, exactly what I had hoped for. Since my son is so thin, the jeans came out a little thin looking and tight-fitting, but definitely are the dimensions we sent in! Next time we will either pick a baggier style, or add some inches to the measurements. But...we will definitely order again. And I might get some jeans made for myself, the prices are very good! As a guy who is 6 foot 5 and has a 32-inch waist, there are no pants stocked for me ANYWHERE. The only jeans I wear are from this site, and they have always arrived fitting perfectly and comfortably. The jeans took about 2 weeks to be made, and the delivery time was excellent, and I was able to track my delivery.
