I ordered a test pair of jeans and a black dress shirt with a white collar. It took a while for them to get finish production (about a month) but once it shipped they got here within a week. [5 of 5 Stars!] The shirt was great, however, the sleeves were too long but - upon further review - I believe the mistake was on my end. It's a small problem that I can easily have a local tailor fix (rather than go through shipping it back). The quality of the fabric was great and the construction was clean and solid. I was more than satisfied with the shirt for the price. The jeans were perfect...seriously amazing...I'm short so I've never been able to find a pair of jeans that fit well out of the box but these fit perfectly. The material was better than I expected and was actually softer than my other jeans. The rise, length, and the seat were perfectly contoured...I scrutinized the fit in the mirror and was pleased with the jeans. Definitely will order more jeans for the future and will try some dress pants as well. Thanks! |

My jacket came surprisingly quickly. Fit and finish was pretty impeccable. I'd been unable to find a tweed jacket that would fit off the shelf, even with alterations. This seemed like the only option left, and MakeYourOwnJeans did not disappoint. Fantastic jeans and dress pants. If you have to wear business casual at work, start ordering your dress pants here. I have large upper legs and butt and so most pants don't fit right. Excellent - as always. This time was a tweed coat and it fits absolutely perfect. [5 of 5 Stars!] For anyone who is considering using this Company for the first time and is a little hesitant because of the (natural) fear of the unknown, let me put your mind at rest; I have now spent well over £1000 on various products and not one article has disappointed. The best advice I can give is to trust your tape measure. For example, whenever I bought jeans or trousers "off the peg", I always bought a size 34 waist. However, my true measurement is 36 (I was initially a bit peeved at this because at 6ft 1 inch and 182 pounds I thought I was relatively lean)! Apparently, the High Street stores reduce their sizing as a form of "psychological flattery" to entice the potential customer. |
