G`day, I`d like to give my thumbs up and highly recommend this amazing site, I stand at 6`5" and most of that height is in my limbs, I`ve always struggled to find long enough pants and shirts, my lean build also makes it a drama. I ordered my first tailored jeans and a corduroy jacket several weeks ago, they arrived 2 weeks later, the best fitting clothes I`ve ever had by far!! The ease of the process and the customer backup was first class and so are the garments, so much so that I`ve another order in for more jeans and a formal shirt, even if I could find something close to the fit and quality in a retail store it would cost me 2-3 times more (postage included). The look is great (images, colour, etc). The feel is clunky and confusing, and may turn potential customers away. For example, there are far too many options in the left hand bar, there are inconsistencies in the use of the '--_' (what does it even mean?), and the entire design, customization, and ordering process was not that straightforward. My experience of buying a made to measure suit had previously been during overseas trips and involved several visits to a tailor's shop before the final product was released - not always totally satisfying my initial expectations I would have to say. I was therefore a bit nervous in ordering a suit from Makeyourownjeans based purely upon my own measurement taking skills and relying upon your tailor's interpretation !! I was however encouraged on account of the good fit that had been achieved with other items that I have had you guys make for me, so went ahead with my fingers crossed. I shouldn't have worried. After so many years of not being able to buy jeans "off the rack" which in itself is frustrating, I was happy to find your website. After reading the process of how to "makeyourownjeans" very carefully, I decided to placed an order for jeans in basic denim. I figured I would start off with a very general pair of jeans first, see how they came out and then order more. When I received my package in the mail (in 18 days btw), I said this could go one of two ways....good or bad. I was delighted to see that the measurements were right on. The jeans looked really good. They fit me very well. I wore them on jeans day at work (Fridays) and got really good compliments. I didn't tell my co-workers until later about where I got my jeans. I ordered a suit which arrived in three and half weeks which I was very impressed with. The jacket and Trousers fitted perfectly. [4 of 5 Stars!] The waist coat was a little loose on the lower half of my abdomen but that seemed a minor thing really. I would of liked a little more guidance on how to adjust measurement to change height of the waist line etc and more detail in description ofcloth(weight etc). Overall though its an excellent Job and Service.will be back for sure. |

I become skeptical when I see tons of very positive testimonials. I always assume that they are fake. However, I am a real person. I ordered a funky striped linen sport coat that you could not buy anywhere in the world. It took about 3 weeks; everything went just as planned. I love it. Thank goodness, because they were definitely off. 3 weeks later my suit arrived. I looked at it and it seemed too small, like it wasn't going to fit. Well... it fit perfectly! I guess I had never looked at clothes that were my size, meant only for me. Everybody was complimenting my new suit. I am now thinking of getting more clothes from here.
