My waist is much smaller than my hips, and before now, every pair of jeans I've tried has gaped at the waist. But your pants actually FIT! Took measurements from old and much-loved pair of jeans, filled in all the boxes and received jeans approx 3 weeks later. Very well packed and presented, great quality, perfect fit and very pleased with the service, value and the product. I'll definitely be re-ordering and have spread the word to friends and family. I'm especially pleased that MYOJ provide so much detail on different types of denim fabric esp. weight as I like a heavy denim (15.5 oz) and this info is often not available from other sources. G`day, I`d like to give my thumbs up and highly recommend this amazing site, I stand at 6`5" and most of that height is in my limbs, I`ve always struggled to find long enough pants and shirts, my lean build also makes it a drama. I ordered my first tailored jeans and a corduroy jacket several weeks ago, they arrived 2 weeks later, the best fitting clothes I`ve ever had by far!! The ease of the process and the customer backup was first class and so are the garments, so much so that I`ve another order in for more jeans and a formal shirt, even if I could find something close to the fit and quality in a retail store it would cost me 2-3 times more (postage included). [5 of 5 Stars!] If you find it hard to find garments that fit your unique shape and size, get a measuring tape and get going, it is so easy and the reward is clothing that is truly yours, the perfect fit at last! As a hard to fit figure, I am very happy with the first pair of jeans you have made me. "Stretch" jeans take on a whole new meaning when one is talking about Make Your Own Jeans fabrics! I will be making some slight alterations to my measurements to accommodate the super stretchy material but otherwise I couldn't be happier. I will be placing another order in the next couple of weeks and once we have my perfect fit established, will never buy jeans anywhere else. Your jeans are absolutely fantastic, I will definitely be ordering from you again. Fit was flawless, I get complimented on them all the time. [5 of 5 Stars!] I would recommend a website redesign. The look is great (images, colour, etc). The feel is clunky and confusing, and may turn potential customers away. For example, there are far too many options in the left hand bar, there are inconsistencies in the use of the '--_' (what does it even mean?), and the entire design, customization, and ordering process was not that straightforward. I'd get a professional eye involved; have a look at www.indochino.com for an example of a slick design. |

My experience of buying a made to measure suit had previously been during overseas trips and involved several visits to a tailor's shop before the final product was released - not always totally satisfying my initial expectations I would have to say. I was therefore a bit nervous in ordering a suit from Makeyourownjeans based purely upon my own measurement taking skills and relying upon your tailor's interpretation !! I was however encouraged on account of the good fit that had been achieved with other items that I have had you guys make for me, so went ahead with my fingers crossed. I shouldn't have worried. When the suit arrived it fitted me perfectly and the quality of workmanship and cloth was extremely good and great value for money.
