Dear MYOJ, I specifically purchased these lightweight denim jeans for an alumni trip to Switzerland and Italy in May 2022. I selected the black thread and dark buttons to make them look more like blue slacks. I am happy with the cloth weight and look. The seat may be a tad tight and should relax when worn, but that's my bad. Happy with MYOJ!

Love the light weight of the 7oz jeans.... they are made precisely to my custom measurements. I basically live in them. Have 3 pair and plan to buy a fourth pair. I wish they were also available in BLACK .... I would buy 2 more!

I searched a lot of mfgrs. to find a light weight jean to wear down here in Florida during the summer and "Make Your Own Jeans" were the only company I found to offer them. I was a bit skeptical when I saw I had to take measurements and they were going to make them to my specs... especially at the price. But they came out great and are really so much lighter in weight than regular jeans. I was also a bit concerned when I realized they were coming from India, but they shipped and delivered sooner than predicted, so, all in all, it was a very satisfying experience.

This is my second pair in four years; the first were fine but I had a couple of slightly distracting bleached spots from toothpaste or something and it was time for fresh. My sizing measurements had already been saved and still worked so using my online account ordering was failsafe and easy, and the three weeks or so in transit and tailoring were reasonable. By the way the only jeans and such I have found competitive in quality and class are Prana and Columbia sportswear fashions. I may try something else from Makeyourownjeans some time. I allow the marketing e-mail postings . . .

I have tried to find light weight jeans like these for a long time. These are perfect.

This is very stylish, and an overall great value. It comes with internal pockets, despite not listing that in the listing. A minor word of caution though.. it comes with a "left hand" pull zipper (meaning the zipper pull is on the left hand side when wearing the jacket and looking down). 100% of my other jackets all have "right hand" pull zippers... and they are happy to provide that if you request it, but it wasn't listed anywhere in the description so I didn't know I needed to ask for that. I'm still very happy with the jacket, but hope this review helps prevent others from making the same mistake I did (although people in other countries may prefer the left hand zipper).

very hard to communicate with the MAKE YOUR OWN JEANS. once you have measurements each pair of jeans comes out fine. trying to ask for different colors and such is very burdensome. the jeans take a long time to make and ship and arrive. so far so good. each time i order i wonder if they got the info right

This is my fourth pair of jeans from this company, and the second pair identical to this one. I am impressed with their quality and care; previously I purchased jeans from one of their competitors and I'm happy I changed. As I expected, they vary a bit in size -- but probably less than I do over the same period. One of the things that made me switch was the availability of particularly good fabrics, which has been rewarded in the way that they wear. My only departure from their standard jeans is to request 7 belt looks; I don't know if this is necessary, but it was with the other company. I'm set for a while as long as I stay away from spraying bleach, which was my reason for this order -- that is, I didn't and the black magic marker didn't do a good enough job.

I'm quite pleased. Jacket well put together. Excellent quality and stylish. I have purchased 3 other jackets since this purchase.

The jeansarrived in good time fit pretty good the thighs are a little tight and the front and rear riser could be a little longer as I have what is known as skiers physique large muscly thighs and rear end with a smaller waist than would be expected, I think I measured wrong., Having said that they fit much better than anything I found off the shelf. I would have liked to see the rear pockets with orange stitching across the top. I will be reordering with a few adjustments.

Product is well made and hugs the body just as said. Very comfortable to wear. The fit is perfect.

I buy all my pants from MakeYourOwnJeans, confident they will fit my rather large frame. I'll be back over snd over! I particularly like the stretch fabric for comfort.

I found the entire experience to be very satisfying. The initial order was for 2 distinct fabrics. The ordering process was very reassuring. Someone noticed something odd about one of my leg measurements and wrote to ask me to remeasure. I did, and they were correct: something a machine probably would have missed. Part of the order was filled first with the request that I make any modifications to achieve a perfect fit. I made some very minor edits and the entire order was delivered within a few weeks from staring the exercise. I was very pleased with the pair made with the refined measurements. I immediately ordered 2 more pair in this fabric and the finished jeans arrived in about 2.5 weeks. I will order more.

Really nice jeans! They fit exactly how I wanted them to and the lighter denim is perfect for warmer weather, plus I soecified them to be roomy and I can easily wear long johns uner them if needed.

The jeans were well made, and look great when worn. I need to change my leg opening size as these are difficult to get on and off because the leg opening is so small. Great quality and craftsmanship. I will be ordering additional products!

I have been ordering clothes from MYOJ for about 10 years and expect to continue doing so. My first order included two leather jackets which still look and feel good after all that time. I have also bought about twelve pairs of corduroy trousers. I find that although these fit well and look great, they sometimes don't wear quite as well as I would like. However they are so good in all other respects, and the cost is so reasonable, that I will continue to order. Generally, extremely happy.

I had a misunderstanding in the measurements required - be careful, the leg measurement is the total outside length of the jeans, from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the leg hem - not a normal inseam measurement that I took for granted. The MYOJ fit guarantee allowed for me to alter my measurements and get the jeans remade for free. The MYOJ team were also understanding that I was on holidays when the jeans were delivered so even though I was unable to trigger the re-make within the standard time frame, they reactivated the option in the online form and I progressed without issues. I am very happy with the final result and will definitely buy more in future.
