Dear MYOJ, I specifically purchased these lightweight denim jeans for an alumni trip to Switzerland and Italy in May 2022. I selected the black thread and dark buttons to make them look more like blue slacks. I am happy with the cloth weight and look. The seat may be a tad tight and should relax when worn, but that's my bad. Happy with MYOJ!

Love the light weight of the 7oz jeans.... they are made precisely to my custom measurements. I basically live in them. Have 3 pair and plan to buy a fourth pair. I wish they were also available in BLACK .... I would buy 2 more!

I searched a lot of mfgrs. to find a light weight jean to wear down here in Florida during the summer and "Make Your Own Jeans" were the only company I found to offer them. I was a bit skeptical when I saw I had to take measurements and they were going to make them to my specs... especially at the price. But they came out great and are really so much lighter in weight than regular jeans. I was also a bit concerned when I realized they were coming from India, but they shipped and delivered sooner than predicted, so, all in all, it was a very satisfying experience.

This is my second pair in four years; the first were fine but I had a couple of slightly distracting bleached spots from toothpaste or something and it was time for fresh. My sizing measurements had already been saved and still worked so using my online account ordering was failsafe and easy, and the three weeks or so in transit and tailoring were reasonable. By the way the only jeans and such I have found competitive in quality and class are Prana and Columbia sportswear fashions. I may try something else from Makeyourownjeans some time. I allow the marketing e-mail postings . . .

I have tried to find light weight jeans like these for a long time. These are perfect.

I would rate this product (and Company) even higher, since GOOD is not good enough! As being a very short Man (5'02"only)I have always had a big trouble to find pants or jeans that fits Me right. And one Day Friend of mine said: You should try MakeYourOwnJeans.com. And I did and I'm very, very happy now! They did a marvelous job. Finally I don't look like a Clown. I have ordered 5 pairs of pants and jeans since January and there will be more.

Love this shirt! Great look, great fit and great quality. The only problem I have is that the collar doesn\'t have slots for collar points and I prefer a nice pointed collar. But overall, I love it.

It was an awesome experience! I was skeptical doing business out of country, but these guys are great! I got an email asking me to re-check my measurements...they said they didn\'t seem right. When I re-checked, sure enough...I had confused some of the measurements. No worries, they made the changes with the new, correct data. The package arrived, and I have never had a better fitting pair of trousers. My 14-year-old loves this jeans so much that he wants to wear them every day! Once you dial in the measurements and get a pair that fit, order these. The fabric, both look and feel, is quite a bit better than most jeans. The color goes with everything.
