As a beginner online buyer, I found this site very useful. And the suit which I ordered fits perfectly. Very very impressed by the time it took to produce and ship the product.

I used the 'Clone a Jean' service on a pair of jeans that had been previously made for me by 'Make Your Own Jeans", but the pattern had been discontinued. I ordered 6 pairs in various fabrics, and all were great. I used the New York shipping service, and my originals and all 6 'clones' were returned to me in just a few weeks. Now I have a good selection of my favorite pairs of jeans which should last me quite a while. I have recommended the service to my friends who have trouble finding pants.

I am 6'6" and thin so it is near impossible for me to find pants that fit and I am stuck with whatever material and colors are in the few pants that were even close to fitting. I ordered a pair of jeans made to my measurements. The fabric is perfect, the fit of the garment as well. I ordered a low rise jeans, this one fits perfectly. I would have never found something as nice in a shop or ready made from the shelf. I have already ordered two more pairs in different fabrics, also very low rise. This might become addictive ......

The style I like is not available in the stores as waist high jeans are not in fashion so I was able to recreate my old favourite jeans (they had actually worn out and were unwearable)by measuring them and using those measurements for the pair you made.Great job!! I ordered swatches for a vest for my fiance and his best man. The order arrived promptly and we found the perfect swatch that matches both his shoes and pants. I ordered a full linen suit with a vest from this site for my wedding on the beach! I was a little sceptical at first because of the price, because I had been quoted well over $1000 for custom suits from different specialty stores in the area. As I get older, the more UNcomfortable I am in my clothes. So when I found that I could have all of them 'custom-made', especially with a stretch denim, I jumped at the chance. I was totally skeptical, especially given the low cost, but it really paid off! I havent been as comfortable in jeans for years. So much so, that I nearly immediately ordered 2 more! What ever you read in the MYOJ ads, is totally TRUE. Haven't tried any other garment, but I intend to. Only 1 real complaint -- you will wait at least 1 month to receive your order...Oh well...it's worth it! You've gotta get some of these!

Harry's does it again. I've ordered mens trousers in corduroy and chino -- and I just ordered in twillino. I thought these trousers were not what I wanted when I opened the package, but after they came back nicely pressed from the dry cleaner, I realized they are like my others -- excellent for the office and for business meetings. My first trousers' from Harry's weren't totally right, because I didn't get some of the measurements right, but with the help of my wife, I made small adjustments, and now all of my trousers fit perfectly, the material is always high quality, and the workmanship is always first rate. I've never had jeans go on this easy! As a plus size, my choices shopping for jeans are limited. I usually have to settle for something less than ideal and less than flattering. I was super excited when I found makeyourownjeans.com and ordered a pair. The price for a pair of custom tailered jeans made for me was comparable to anything I'd find in the mall. They are awesome! Perfect color, perfect fit, and the pockets are flattering- not to small, not too large and placed perfectly. My only complaint is the stretch fabric has a tendency to get a little baggy with wear. A short trip in the dryer fixes it right up. They are no where near the trash bag effect I've experienced with store bought jeans where the jeans seem to magically expand two whole sizes as the day wears on.

Overall a happy customer with awesome rock star jeans, I've already ordered four more. :)

I had trouble getting the right measurements. I did not know the difference between fit and actual measurements. Pants turned out fine.

I order a suit last month for my birthday, Let me start by saying I'm 19 now. I own 4 other suits but I needed a navy suit. I was crossing my fingers and praying that it would come out fine. I opted to pay for a slim suit and picked wool for the material. I also got a vest and embroidery in the inside jacket adding up to around $250 including shipping. Costumer service was great they messaged me with some issues about my measurements since the rise seemed off (which it was).

In about a month I got my suit. I was extremely happy and pleased with the results, I've received so many compliments when wearing it. For the suit pants I copied the crouch area of a pair of great fitting chinos made from cotton and polyester blend. The problem was that I forgot my chinos fall at my hips, so when the suit pants came if i pulled them up a bit under my navel and my man "area" was being given a wedge from the rise, also I had got the measurement of the waist of the suit pants for my waist which was a bummer since it falls as my hips this created a tight fit. lucky I was able to just steam the waist and stretch it out a bit to create a perfect fit ( I had to pull on it and let me tell you the suit is very well made and strong and durable, it took some time to even stretch the material) As for the suit jacket I got the sleeves a bit shorter then anticipated again this was my fault since i was trying to get it to show exactly 1/2 inch of my cuff. I had also got "working buttons" but only three just incase my sleeves measurements were off so I could easily add a button since 4 buttons don't look wrong at all. So if i want I could easily increase the length (well by 1/2 an inch, so it'll still be even with the other buttons or by an inch if i add 5 buttons).

Either way with all that said its still the best fitting suit I have, I feel like a million bucks in it, and let me tell you people look at me differently in it. I got a job right off the bat when I wore it to an interview. It wears amazingly.

Honestly (aside from my measurement mistakes which makes my dingo show more and rides higher then I'd like, I can tell since women stare) I''ll still buy another one in the near future and properly measure :) mostly based off my other suit pants rise since I have a better idea now of what i'm looking for. I could wear the suit with the cuffs up and go for a club style look, Wear the vest alone, opt for just the dress pants and wear it out since they blend amazingly with other clothing. I wouldn't wear the jacket as a blazer without switching out the buttons to gold but if someone wanted too they could do that. The embroidery on the inside didn't meet my exception at all, so I won't be adding embroidery next time, but the suit meet and exceed my standards which was the most important part. So let's look at it, if I opted for no vest no embroidery it would've cost $200 (including shipping) for a suit that looks straight out of a GQ magazine. Which generally cost $2,000 and up for this amazing look, you can't beat it. Thankfully I now have a better idea when I go to the tailor how I want him to modify current suits :) (My current suits fit great too but it took me about 5 trips to the tailor to get it just right). Also I started lifting weights , And well i'm getting as much use as I can out of this suit before I out grow it haha. either way they leave about an inch of fabric for the legs if my legs get bigger (since its a slim suit) if my shoulders get to big will I'm assed out and i'll just give it me cousin who lucky has my current build and he could modify as needed. Plus I can keep the vest which is great. So I say goodbye with this, IF ITS YOUR FIRST TIME BUYING A BESPOKED SUIT (DON'T BUY THE MOST EXPENSIVE SUIT GO WITH A LESSER PRICE TO GET THE FIT RIGHT, THEN SPEND A LOT OF MONEY WHEN YOU KNOW IT'LL FIT CORRECTLY) - Adrian Chamorro

My son is extremely skinny and tall. This is the first pair of jeans that have ever fit in both length and waist. The rise is tight and I would like to increase the rise from 9 to 11 to give him some more room, this was in no way your fault, but mine.
