I've tried big and tall stores but I'm tall and skinny, and at those stores you have to be big and tall not just one or the other. make-your-own-jeans has been a life saver! as due to my health my size has varied greatly, i can get custom made jeans, cheaper than store bought, and i am never disappointed! this is a great concept, well executed, and reasonably priced. and i refer people constantly to the site! i wish i had known about it before i spent so many $$s thru the years hemming pants (i am long waisted) and wasting time trying on brand after brand... i recommend it to parents as well for their kids as well as for their parents (all generations can benefit!). only draw-back is unpredictability of when they will make and mail your jeans: i recently ordered 2 different cuts, got one within a week, then nothing but an email 3 weeks later saying the next set were coming, did i have any corrections to the measurements i gave? well, it had been _5weeks, so all measuring was long done in my mind... but they finally came and were PERFECT!

I'm very happy with my jeans. They are very well made and obviously hand made which is really nice. I have not worn jeans in over a decade. I lift weights and have large thighs so I can never find jeans to fit me because nobody makes jeans for women with strong legs. My only complaint is that I made a mistake in the length measurement and they ended up a little too short (I fixed it though.) I also think I made the knee measurement a little too small. I will definitely order again.

The fit was perfect but I have 2 strong complaints. The front pockets were way too shallow - no depth!! And only 5 belt loops - a good pair of jeans has 7!!

I've had my leather jacket for a couple of weeks now, and am loving it more by the day. I am still amazed that I can get a made to measure leather jacket in exactly the colours I want, to my exact measurements for the same price as a mass produced market stall item. Going to order some jeans and cargoes just as soon as I can decide on colours and styles. So many to choose from. Keep up the good work.

Great jeans! I was nervous about measuring and ordering online but MYOJ made it very easy to understand. The jeans arrived and fit perfectly. I have larger thighs and a relatively small waist so I have been at a loss to find a good fit. My only hesitance is that the grain/wash of the jeans is a bit difficult to judge from the pictures online. Mine didn't end up looking like typical American jeans but I like the uniqueness.

Being the mother of a 6'7" thin young man it is very hard to find cloths that fit , I had him order a leather jacket from here because he's in college and has never owned a coat that fit . I Love My Jeans. Due to the fact that I always measure things wrong I asked the pattern makers to do some changes. We e-mailed back and forth and came up with a pattern that is fantastic. I am going to ask them to do this pattern 4 more times with different materials and another pattern 3 more times. Love this place. I tried to go to another place but they wanted 12 times the money for one pair of jeans. This is the place for me.

I LOVE Make Your Own Jeans! I am so tired of trying to find pants/jeans that fit every part of me in the stores. When I order my jeans from M.Y.O.J. I can pick the color of denim, how much stretch I want, how heavy/light of material and style for my jeans.
Get someone to help you with your measurements so they are perfect, if you want anything extra or different just let them know. They are AWESOME.

Third pair of jeans and they just keep getting better as I adjust my measurements to what I like. Also purchased a slim-fitting, white dress shirt that is better fitting than any store bought shirt I have ever owned. Very happy with my order.

Ordered a vest with make your own jeans due to the availability of all of the color choices. I found a vest to match my biker jacket as it is a hard color match being distressed leather look (old worn and faded like it had been lost for years and the sun bleached it out.) I was impressed with the color match, just wish the leather was a little thicker as it is more a dress leather than a biker thick leather. but still looks good. Thanks

Greetings! I had been given the name of your company by someone who knew my difficulty in finding a decent fitting pair of trousers/jeans at a decent price.
I duly filled out the order form and my sizing after reviewing the website and it's suggestions. The sizing by the way is foolproof.
During the process I was constantly kept up to date on the status of my jeans order and even received some suggestions to change a couple of the measurements to make them a better looking fit.
My problem is I am of Anglo-Scottish birth - we tend to have large torsos and smaller legs as we are used to walking up mountains where i am from. This is not taken into account in the US. Now that I do live in the US, all my pants purchased would have to be altered and about 9 or 10 inches chopped off the bottoms! Ugh!

I received more messages to say my jeans had gone from design to the manufacturing and then on to quality check and then shipping! It is important to be to be kept in 'the know' of what is happening and your company did that and more. I was very reassured.
You use a good shipper. DHL. Unlike their competition who can't be bothered to get a customer to sign when it clearly says so, your shipper brought them to my door. I explained what was in the package and he was interested so I gave him your website address.
I ordered my jeans to have belt loops of a certain size - that happened.
They are light as I wanted them and VERY comfortable. Since they came I often wear them though I did lose some weight .. terrible me! it does not change how good they look.
I have given your website to several friends now in various parts of the US so I hope some will order from you. I will be re-ordering and I shall do so with great confidence.
