I was very skeptical of what I was ordering, but I was fed up with poor fitting jeans. I am a 48 waist and 29 length and I never could get jean to fit, they were always too baggy or needed hemming. My husband bought me a white linen suit for my birthday which is beautiful and fits so well. Being petite I find it hard to buy good fitting clothes. Got a cord suit. Good quality and price. Would be handier if I could pick a standard trouser size because I'm not great at measuring, but can't complain and have already ordered another suit with slightly tweaked measurements.

Very good option for fitted jeans. First time for me. I was tired of jeans that just didn't fit right. I don't have a 34 or a 36 inch waste. It's something in between. I ordered one pair to try out. I'll surely re-order.

A friend found this site while searching for a pair of leather pants. After reading thru what this site had to offer, I decided to give it a try. I had seen a designer suit on line that I fell in love with and decided to see if makeyourownsuits could duplicate it. I emailed makeyourownsuits a photo of the suit along with the demensions as instructed on the web site and waited anxiously for the order. They were very prompt in responding to any issues that arose from the making of the suit. Although the colors of the finished product wasn't an exact match of the photo(which was expected as I chose from the available colors, the terry rayon range), the fit was amazing. About as tailored as you could expect. I don't see any other reason to buy a suit off the store shelf other than wanting to give your money away. For the value and fit you can't go wrong with makeyourownsuits. I will be ordering again for sure. Next time I'll try the jeans.

Each of my jean orders have turned out perfect - always better than could be expected. The stretch material is comfortable, the brazillian style are attractive and the workmanship is the best.

I ordered a pair of regular heavy denim jeans and a pair of stretch jeans. The heavy jeans are great for work (dog hiker/walker) and the stretch jeans are incredibly comfortable. That said, I am a 6 foot 1 inch tall woman with a long waist and have always had to wear men's jeans until I discovered " Make Your Own Jeans". I love having custom jeans that fit my body the way I like. I ask for straight leg trouser fit jeans and I get them. It's wonderful!

hi...bought my second pair of leather jeans..just incredibly well done and are perfect in every way. I changed a couple things via e mail after I placed the order..and they got it all together without hassel and without confusion and did the deal just as I asked them to. The leather is just fantastic. I measured carefully off a pair of $600 leather I had, then they got it perfect. THEN I SENT THE 600 PAIR BACK AND GOT A REFUND!! My leather is very low rise, and totally cool!!!

I bought a pair of summer weight chinos in the slim-straight fit. The material was great--thin and comfortable. The fit was exactly what I pictured. I was a bit apprehensive because I wasn't just ordering pants but knickers

My Jeans arrived this morning,and much quicker than I anticipated. I carefully opened the package, and prepared to try them on, still a little sceptical that they would fit me properly. Like all other tall people its great to have jeans that are long AND you don't have the fear of seeing them shrink after washing. I carefully measured myself and my favorite pants before sending in the measurements and I was specific. I also sent a pair for cloning in addition to ordering others. They were all perfect. What a relief. Its probably best you measure yourself and a favorite pair to get it right. Now when I just want a pair of jeans I can just order them and voila. It is such a relief. I did the same for my daughter. I am 5' 10" and she is 5'9'. We think we are normal but alas the clothing industry does not. Makeyourownjeans is a lifesaver. thank you.

Aside from the fact that the pants arrive quickly (considering they are made by hand in India), they are of very high quality.
I always have trouble finding jeans and pants that fit me well. I have now ordered 3 pairs of jeans and 1 pair of dress pants.
Even though I didn't get the measurements exactly right on the first couple of pairs (since it's difficult to measure yourself accurately, and know how those measurements would change using different materials - like stretch denim), the jeans I ordered still fit me better than most jeans I'd find in stores. This is due to the waist measurements being exactly perfect (it's the easiest one to take accurately), so the jeans sit on me precisely where I want them to, as well as the softness of the material which ensures comfort.

By the third pair, I defined the measurements perfectly based on my knowledge of how the first 2 pairs fit me. I also used this knowledge to inform the measurements I used on the dress pants. The end result of these last two products was that I have the best-fitting jeans and best-fitting dress pants I have ever owned (in addition to 2 other pairs of decently-fitting jeans). All are extremely comfortable.
New customers should have someone else do their measurements for them, or be willing to accept that the jeans may not be the exact tightness or looseness you'd prefer (for me this is primarily in the thigh area). Just know that you will probably order again, and your subsequent orders will probably be the best jeans or pants you will have ever owned.

This is the second time I've ordered jeans from you and I'm very glad I did. The pants look nicer on me than any I can find in a department store and the fabric is extremely soft, which makes them that much more comfortable to wear. Most of the commercial jeans I own are not very flattering to my figure. Either they are two tight to be comfortable or else they are comfortable yet baggy and ill-fitted. Therefore, after trying to find a pair of jeans that might fit me better and coming across makeyourownjeans.com, I decided to give them a try.

I spent a long time carefully taking down all of my measurements per the instructions on their site. I gave due consideration to those areas where my existing jeans were too tight or too loose. All in all, I spent a good hour checking and re-checking my measurements, with the idea that any jeans made using them should fit me perfectly. (Note – I took down all of my measurements, even though makeyourownjeans.com indicates some are optional.)

Next, I selected some fabric and placed my order. It was a little over two weeks later when I received an e-mail informing me that my jeans were finished and would be mailed out that day. The shipping did not take very long, especially considering how far they had to travel.

When I got my jeans and tried them on, I was extremely happy. They fit exactly how they should, and I have actually received several compliments on them. I have never been able to find a pair of jeans that fits. I have a small waist and larger hips and thighs. I would always have a huge gap in the back when I sat down. Was totally wowed to have the jeans arrive today, a good two weeks earlier than expected. The leather feels beautiful and they look really well made.
