I order a suit last month for my birthday, Let me start by saying I'm 19 now. I own 4 other suits but I needed a navy suit. I was crossing my fingers and praying that it would come out fine. I opted to pay for a slim suit and picked wool for the material. I also got a vest and embroidery in the inside jacket adding up to around $250 including shipping. Costumer service was great they messaged me with some issues about my measurements since the rise seemed off (which it was). [5 of 5 Stars!] In about a month I got my suit. I was extremely happy and pleased with the results, I've received so many compliments when wearing it. For the suit pants I copied the crouch area of a pair of great fitting chinos made from cotton and polyester blend. The problem was that I forgot my chinos fall at my hips, so when the suit pants came if i pulled them up a bit under my navel and my man "area" was being given a wedge from the rise, also I had got the measurement of the waist of the suit pants for my waist which was a bummer since it falls as my hips this created a tight fit. lucky I was able to just steam the waist and stretch it out a bit to create a perfect fit ( I had to pull on it and let me tell you the suit is very well made and strong and durable, it took some time to even stretch the material) As for the suit jacket I got the sleeves a bit shorter then anticipated again this was my fault since i was trying to get it to show exactly 1/2 inch of my cuff. I had also got "working buttons" but only three just incase my sleeves measurements were off so I could easily add a button since 4 buttons don't look wrong at all. So if i want I could easily increase the length (well by 1/2 an inch, so it'll still be even with the other buttons or by an inch if i add 5 buttons). Either way with all that said its still the best fitting suit I have, I feel like a million bucks in it, and let me tell you people look at me differently in it. I got a job right off the bat when I wore it to an interview. It wears amazingly. Honestly (aside from my measurement mistakes which makes my dingo show more and rides higher then I'd like, I can tell since women stare) I''ll still buy another one in the near future and properly measure :) mostly based off my other suit pants rise since I have a better idea now of what i'm looking for. I could wear the suit with the cuffs up and go for a club style look, Wear the vest alone, opt for just the dress pants and wear it out since they blend amazingly with other clothing. I wouldn't wear the jacket as a blazer without switching out the buttons to gold but if someone wanted too they could do that. The embroidery on the inside didn't meet my exception at all, so I won't be adding embroidery next time, but the suit meet and exceed my standards which was the most important part. So let's look at it, if I opted for no vest no embroidery it would've cost $200 (including shipping) for a suit that looks straight out of a GQ magazine. Which generally cost $2,000 and up for this amazing look, you can't beat it. Thankfully I now have a better idea when I go to the tailor how I want him to modify current suits :) (My current suits fit great too but it took me about 5 trips to the tailor to get it just right). Also I started lifting weights , And well i'm getting as much use as I can out of this suit before I out grow it haha. either way they leave about an inch of fabric for the legs if my legs get bigger (since its a slim suit) if my shoulders get to big will I'm assed out and i'll just give it me cousin who lucky has my current build and he could modify as needed. Plus I can keep the vest which is great. I had been thinking about ordering a leather skirt for a while from Make Your Own Jeans, I decided to order a leather skirt, leather jacket and jeans plus my daughter ordered a pair of jeans. We did our measurements and choose all the extras that we wanted. Some of my measures turned out to be a little out however MYOJ was good enough to check on them and I sent a re-calculation which must have worked because everything fitted perfectly. I have worn my leather skirt & jackets out 3 times already and had loads of compliments. The jeans are also a great fit when I wore them 3 separate people commented about how slim that I looked, so a wonderful fit.
