Dear MYOJ, I specifically purchased these lightweight denim jeans for an alumni trip to Switzerland and Italy in May 2022. I selected the black thread and dark buttons to make them look more like blue slacks. I am happy with the cloth weight and look. The seat may be a tad tight and should relax when worn, but that's my bad. Happy with MYOJ!

Love the light weight of the 7oz jeans.... they are made precisely to my custom measurements. I basically live in them. Have 3 pair and plan to buy a fourth pair. I wish they were also available in BLACK .... I would buy 2 more!

I searched a lot of mfgrs. to find a light weight jean to wear down here in Florida during the summer and "Make Your Own Jeans" were the only company I found to offer them. I was a bit skeptical when I saw I had to take measurements and they were going to make them to my specs... especially at the price. But they came out great and are really so much lighter in weight than regular jeans. I was also a bit concerned when I realized they were coming from India, but they shipped and delivered sooner than predicted, so, all in all, it was a very satisfying experience.

This is my second pair in four years; the first were fine but I had a couple of slightly distracting bleached spots from toothpaste or something and it was time for fresh. My sizing measurements had already been saved and still worked so using my online account ordering was failsafe and easy, and the three weeks or so in transit and tailoring were reasonable. By the way the only jeans and such I have found competitive in quality and class are Prana and Columbia sportswear fashions. I may try something else from Makeyourownjeans some time. I allow the marketing e-mail postings . . .

I have unusual proportions. My hips and legs are large, but my waist is small. It's pretty much impossible to wear anything off the rack which is why I ordered custom jeans. I ordered baggy style jeans to try and make sure they didn't constrict my knees and lower legs. You don't need to do this - the bagginess is added on top of your measurements, and they do match your measurements exactly. I couldn't be happier. Most comfortable pants I've worn in years. All the jeans in stores seem to be designed for frogs - huge waist, itty bitty legs.

After years of making size and material adjustments, I have found this pair of jeans to be my favorite. The 3% stretch is as advertised and the material extraordinarily soft. My custom styling made these skinny jeans, and the compliments I have received wearing my new favorite jeans has been voluminous and complimentary. Now that I have the perfect size and material, I'll order a few more as back ups!
