Great fit, great quality material. Highly recommend.

My order arrived timely and to the exact measurements. I'm very pleased with the quality of fabric and workmanship. The (Black 14.5oz Heavy Denim Jeans) material is quite durable. It has no stretch but there is some give to it. The fabric is *not* the stiff "workmans" denimn that feels starchy or crunchy... It's soft to the touch but thick, solid, workable. I think it will wear well. The stitching is consistent and professional. The dye is deep, flat jet black. Washed once, no bleed or graying yet. Very happy with my order, I think I'll have these for a long time, and will likely order again. The only change I'd make is more options for tweaking the shape. Specifically, the front of the waist rises to a "V" (isn't level with the back waist) as if the pattern is based on a low-rise jean. This forces the waist to sit just under my belly button even though the measurements I gave are for a very high rise. No big deal, and I'll try tweaking this in my next set of measurements... It's still a great balance of good quality, high customization, and an excellent price point, so absolutely no shade! 10 out of 10!

Although the fabric ordered originally was out of stock so that switching to another one was necessary, the jeans turned out to be of the usual excellent quality not only in respect of fit, but also in respect of the new fabric.

My new black jeans are PERFECT! I've been a client of Make Your Own Jeans for many years, and still have the first ones I ordered, though some of them now are quite decorated with embroidery and patches! This new pair had all the changes I requested, and I just wish MYOJ had RED denim ... I'd certainly order a pair! There are a lot of companies that offer customized services, and MYOJ is one of the VERY BEST! Thank you for providing products that are well-made at a reasonable price. I'll be a client for as long as I wear jeans, which will hopefully be for many years to come!

This is my fourth pair of jeans from this company, and the second pair identical to this one. I am impressed with their quality and care; previously I purchased jeans from one of their competitors and I'm happy I changed. As I expected, they vary a bit in size -- but probably less than I do over the same period. One of the things that made me switch was the availability of particularly good fabrics, which has been rewarded in the way that they wear. My only departure from their standard jeans is to request 7 belt looks; I don't know if this is necessary, but it was with the other company. I'm set for a while as long as I stay away from spraying bleach, which was my reason for this order -- that is, I didn't and the black magic marker didn't do a good enough job.

A regular customer for more than 10 years, I bought jeans for my son and myself in the past few months. And again, they strengthened - if at all possible after 10 years of best experience - my confidence in the expertise of the MYOJ people - the fits are exactly as expected. best pair of black jeans i have ever owned best fitting like the thickness material

This was a pair of jeans for our son, and - as always - he is very satisfied. So it has not come as a surprise at all that, just a few hours ago, our daughter has a new pair of jeans ordered, too.

This is the second pair of these jeans I?ve purchased. The first pair were a perfect fit, held their color and haven?t shown the wear my Levi?s always did. This pair will be just as fantastic.

In 70 years, these are the first jeans that actually fit. These jeans were chosen because of the heavyweight denim so they would wear well. What a surprise that after 3 weeks, they feel like they have been worn for years!

Really thick material ... just what I wanted for winter

The jeans fit PERFECTLY after my second attempt. Now I can re-order in all different colors. The quality is top notch with any jeans I\'ve purchased in a retail store. I\'ve washed and dried them and no shrinkage at all. Just remember that your first-time free alteration is only with the low end denim and NOT with the heavy duty denim as I found out the hard way. The jeans take a while to arrive... about 2 months. Jeans are shipped in nice packaging which gives that luxurious feel of something special. I highly recommend!!!

Really enjoy the fabric. It's a bit on the heavier side than some of the summer weighted cotton fabrics, but it's great for temperate climates and holds the wrinkles off a bit right from the suitcase. Sorry, I don't wear my pants tight enough to speak to the "stretchiness" of the fabric but I can attest to its comfort!

Pants fit perfectly. Well constructed. Leather material may be a tad heavy for summer use. Pocket zipper tabs were horizontal instead of vertical (as shown in picture). Lining material was a bit long in leg opening (stopped just short of pant cuffs), if there is any sag it will become visible while standing. Overall I liked these pants so well that I ordered another pair. For guys who like something different (one of a kind item) you can't go wrong with these cargo shorts.

Overall the quality and fit are good. I was hoping for a more denim material...this feels more to me like pants than jeans (if that makes sense). I have ordered another pair in bolt heavy black jeans because I think that will be more what I'm looking for. I still like these and will wear them happily. Very soft material and again, fit great.

Outstanding quality and workmanship! Perfect fit! I chose the thicker leather with the standard lining. Not the heaviest leather Jean,but for the price theses are by far the best!

This is the second garment I have purchased from this source and I am delighted with the quality of product, service and price for the equivalent of a made to measure, bespoke item each time. This is by far the best and most economical way, to obtain your own style to your own exact details, when the high street just doesn't cater for anything other than standard products.

This was my first order from Make Your Own Jeans. I am incredibly pleased. I have an odd-shaped body and it is difficult to find pants that fit my regular-sized waist and large behind. These jeans fit perfectly, except they are about an inch too short in length. That was my fault. I cannot wait to order more pants!!

I was very pleased with the leather jacket I had made to measure with my own design. Your designers.craftsmen have done a very good job and I was very pleased with the product . I have ordered custom made jeans and this was my second leather jacket . Keep up the good work. I have also recommended your site to many friends .

Great service, quick delivery, perfect fit and made to my own measurements, good fabric and choice of fabric.

I like the jacket very much and it fits well. The only thing is the padded areas on the arms and shoulders and lower back are not actually padded like in the picture. Just has the stitching and no padding.

I spent 25 years in the men's clothing industry, 15 of those years in custom tailoring. The quality of these trousers are of the highest quality. When I requested an adjustment to the double play model, they were extremely accommodating. The trousers fit and look beautiful.

3rd pair. Measurements are getting very close. Very nice fabric. Would be great if fabric samples were available before ordering

The fit was perfectly matched to my jeans clone. The only caveat is they attempted to replicate the pocket stitching which didn't turn out that well, though I selected a plain pocket (so they wouldn't look like a knockoff). Anyway, I will be buying again and try to emphasize the blank pockets.

Excellent material and craftsmanship! The leather is soft and supple to the touch and I've gotten a lot of compliments when I wear it. The website could be a bit clearer about determining proper sizing.

Product is always good/superb. The problem is with the website. It's not easy to order. You select one pair, and you're lost on the website. It does not return to the same page, you have to redo the whole shopping experience. You cannot order multiples, you can only order one pair at a time. It's very disconcerting, and I don't order more items because of a faulty website system of ordering.

I searched a lot of mfgrs. to find a light weight jean to wear down here in Florida during the summer and "Make Your Own Jeans" were the only company I found to offer them. I was a bit skeptical when I saw I had to take measurements and they were going to make them to my specs... especially at the price. But they came out great and are really so much lighter in weight than regular jeans. I was also a bit concerned when I realized they were coming from India, but they shipped and delivered sooner than predicted, so, all in all, it was a very satisfying experience.

The jacket is very nice soft supple leather and quality of construction is very good. I opted for the thinsulate lining and it is very warm. The fit is perfect. Worth waiting for.

2nd try at getting size correct. This pair was free and came much closer to the fit I am hoping for. This is a process and has been fun. Just received 3rd pair and better yet. Product is high quality and definitely hand made.

Jeans are much better than anything off the rack. We needed to tweak the measurements once and now they are perfect. I have ordered several additional pair.
