Great fit, great quality material. Highly recommend.

My order arrived timely and to the exact measurements. I'm very pleased with the quality of fabric and workmanship. The (Black 14.5oz Heavy Denim Jeans) material is quite durable. It has no stretch but there is some give to it. The fabric is *not* the stiff "workmans" denimn that feels starchy or crunchy... It's soft to the touch but thick, solid, workable. I think it will wear well. The stitching is consistent and professional. The dye is deep, flat jet black. Washed once, no bleed or graying yet. Very happy with my order, I think I'll have these for a long time, and will likely order again. The only change I'd make is more options for tweaking the shape. Specifically, the front of the waist rises to a "V" (isn't level with the back waist) as if the pattern is based on a low-rise jean. This forces the waist to sit just under my belly button even though the measurements I gave are for a very high rise. No big deal, and I'll try tweaking this in my next set of measurements... It's still a great balance of good quality, high customization, and an excellent price point, so absolutely no shade! 10 out of 10!

Although the fabric ordered originally was out of stock so that switching to another one was necessary, the jeans turned out to be of the usual excellent quality not only in respect of fit, but also in respect of the new fabric.

My new black jeans are PERFECT! I've been a client of Make Your Own Jeans for many years, and still have the first ones I ordered, though some of them now are quite decorated with embroidery and patches! This new pair had all the changes I requested, and I just wish MYOJ had RED denim ... I'd certainly order a pair! There are a lot of companies that offer customized services, and MYOJ is one of the VERY BEST! Thank you for providing products that are well-made at a reasonable price. I'll be a client for as long as I wear jeans, which will hopefully be for many years to come!

This is my fourth pair of jeans from this company, and the second pair identical to this one. I am impressed with their quality and care; previously I purchased jeans from one of their competitors and I'm happy I changed. As I expected, they vary a bit in size -- but probably less than I do over the same period. One of the things that made me switch was the availability of particularly good fabrics, which has been rewarded in the way that they wear. My only departure from their standard jeans is to request 7 belt looks; I don't know if this is necessary, but it was with the other company. I'm set for a while as long as I stay away from spraying bleach, which was my reason for this order -- that is, I didn't and the black magic marker didn't do a good enough job.

A regular customer for more than 10 years, I bought jeans for my son and myself in the past few months. And again, they strengthened - if at all possible after 10 years of best experience - my confidence in the expertise of the MYOJ people - the fits are exactly as expected. This was a pair of jeans for our son, and - as always - he is very satisfied. So it has not come as a surprise at all that, just a few hours ago, our daughter has a new pair of jeans ordered, too.

This is the second pair of these jeans I?ve purchased. The first pair were a perfect fit, held their color and haven?t shown the wear my Levi?s always did. This pair will be just as fantastic.

In 70 years, these are the first jeans that actually fit. These jeans were chosen because of the heavyweight denim so they would wear well. What a surprise that after 3 weeks, they feel like they have been worn for years!

Really thick material ... just what I wanted for winter

The jeans fit PERFECTLY after my second attempt. Now I can re-order in all different colors. The quality is top notch with any jeans I\'ve purchased in a retail store. I\'ve washed and dried them and no shrinkage at all. Just remember that your first-time free alteration is only with the low end denim and NOT with the heavy duty denim as I found out the hard way. The jeans take a while to arrive... about 2 months. Jeans are shipped in nice packaging which gives that luxurious feel of something special. I highly recommend!!!

I ordered these two times. I now know to check on what the material is before I place another order. My first order for these corduroy slacks was for my traditional size, 35 inch waist and 30 inch length. When I received them and tried them on they were perfect! Then they were washed😢 Waist shrunk 1inch and length shrunk 2 inches! I loved them so much, I ordered another pair with 36 inch waist and 32 inch length. After they came I had them washed and they shrink to my now perfect fit! Love this company and will continue to use and recommend them.

The perfect Christmas present--jeans that actually fit!! These are by far the nicest jeans I have ever worn. They are made of luxurious high quality denim, and fit so well. Store-bought jeans always had some problem either in length or being too tight or loose in places, or not sitting right at the waist, and even the expensive brands are made of poor quality fabric that wears out quickly. The makeyourown jeans feel like they will last for years even with frequent wash and wear. I came to the site after a friend had asked on Facebook where one could find good quality jeans these days, and one of her friends suggested makeyourownjeans.com, as I was just wondering that as well. I ordered the cargo jeans 333 model in my measure, when after a very short time I arrived positively surprised, the dimensions are the same as I wanted, the details on the pants are incredibly accurate, and even the interior of the pockets is made to perfection, where even famous companies can hide In short, Make your own jeans made me happy. The jeans are pretty nice, but I was not wowed. Perhaps through my own measuring mistake, it seems like the waist is a little tight, and I would probably add an inch there in another order. I was also a little disappointed in the quality of fabric; it seemed lighter and less hefty than I was expecting.

The fit is perfect and the leather is very nice.

I used my measurements for dress slacks, and the fit is perfect. My wife says they look very good, The fabric is a little lighter than that for my usual Levi 501's, but much less stiff. The real feedback is that I promptly ordered a second pair, and this is where I plan to get my jeans from now on.

This is my second pair in four years; the first were fine but I had a couple of slightly distracting bleached spots from toothpaste or something and it was time for fresh. My sizing measurements had already been saved and still worked so using my online account ordering was failsafe and easy, and the three weeks or so in transit and tailoring were reasonable. By the way the only jeans and such I have found competitive in quality and class are Prana and Columbia sportswear fashions. I may try something else from Makeyourownjeans some time. I allow the marketing e-mail postings . . .

This is my second pair. The first were red, the second purple. I love them! Soft leather, satin lined, perfectly made, super comfortable, and very impressive. They will last for a long time as they are very well made....just don't gain any weight! Absolutely wonderful.
